We are proud to announce that we have digitally reissued a remastered compilation of the best works by USBM band Dawning. Eliminating much of the undesirable noise of the original recording, this remaster really highlights the qualities of this forgotten gem. While for the time being this is only a digital reissue, we may release this in physical format in the future.
Dawning was a progressive black metal band that existed briefly between 1995 and 1998. Emerging as an outlier in the USBM scene, Dawning takes the listener on a grandiose journey of hardship informed by psychadelics. Combining the best of bands like Summoning and Emperor with Pink Floyd, Return to Mount Um features the absolute best work of the band. Remastered for added clarity.
