With this release, the Hessian Firm collection of Endless Dismal Moan recordings is now complete, spanning Demo 1, Demo 2 // Chaos II, Lord of Nightmare, Ruin, and Curse of Underground.
Curse of Underground arrives as a jewel case CD and marks the end of Endless Dismal Moan. Where earlier records carried a particular intensity, this one steps back from it. The madness recedes. Half the album is instrumental, and what remains is largely ambient, a slow movement through emptiness and urban decay.
